Marketing Manager
An exciting start-up business in professional sports and entertainment are looking for a Marketing Manager. They started out of Manchester their first show took place at the Manchester Arena live on UNILAD and 5Spike, owned by Viacom, and watched by over half a million people.
The brand sits in between professional boxing and the entertainment world aiming to create a brand that connects with youth culture whilst also designing a transparent form of boxing intended to give chances in the sport. Ambassadors include Ricky Hatton, Pauli Malignaggi amongst others and their first show saw a star-studded line-up.
This growing ambitious team are looking for a talented Marketing Manager with events experience to head up this fantastic opportunity and build a major business. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual looking to do something special with their career.
Duties:
· Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
· Coordinating marketing campaigns with ticket sales focus.
· Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
· Planning, creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
· Work closely with a graphic designer and social media exec to develop and distribute promotional materials.
· Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
· Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
· Managing influencers output.
· Maximising sponsorships and partnership deals with the partnerships manager.
· Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
· Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
· Set, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities.
· Develop contacts to secure appropriate and good-value.
· Instructing the maintenance and updating website content.
· Implement systems with the administrator to manage invitations, sign up, guest list, discounts etc as well as email Marketing using Mailchimp.
· Working with the Head of Socal to creating Social Media marketing campaigns over all platforms.
· Digital marketing & paid media including Radium 1, FB Advertising, Google Ads and working with online publications.
· Working with PR strategising on radio advertising, print media and magazine adverting.
· Directing and creating videos for Video/TV Advertising.
· Posters, flyers and leaflet distribution.
· Responsible for digital screen marketing.
This role requires you to have 2-3 years experience in Marketing and some events experience. You must be available to travel on fight weekends as and when necessary.
